OpenAI Checkout Integration (powered by the Agentic Commerce Protocol, ACP) enables your products to be purchased directly in ChatGPT through Instant Checkout. Buyers can use ChatGPT as a shopping assistant, and you can receive orders directly into your existing systems while keeping the customer relationship.
Do I need to apply to use OpenAI Checkout?
Yes, most sellers need to apply. Instant Checkout is currently available to approved partners.

If you are already a Shopify seller: you don’t need to apply separately, as Shopify sellers are automatically eligible.

If you are not a Shopify seller: you must apply through OpenAI by submitting the Instant Checkout request form.
