Simple Template for a Single Product

Single product template for Walmart

To create a single product on Walmart seller can use this template. It contains only the required fields:

Header	Description
SKU required	This is a required field. It has to be unique for your account and you cannot change it once submitted. If you made a mistake in your SKU, or you would like to change it, you need to archive your product and add a new one with a correct SKU. We suggest avoiding any special characters or spaces in your SKU. Try to keep it simple (hyphens, underscores, numbers, and letters). Example of a correct SKU: WPA-185-BLK01-XXL Be careful not to place any extra spaces before and after the SKU
Price required	Price of your product in USD
Product Name required	Title of the product to be displayed on the product details page. Max length: 200 characters. Brand + Category + Defining Quality + Item Name + Pack Count if applicable. Example: George Girls’ Short-Sleeve Polo; Hanes Men’s V-Neck Tees, 3-Pack
Description required	Max length: 4000 characters. The complete description that will be displayed on the item page as a bulleted list. Enter the item’s key features, benefits, and other notables, each on its own line. Use HTML to create the headings, line breaks, and bulleted list. Example: Fabric content Features and/or attributes related to the product as a whole, such as a pattern, fabric, etc.) Neckline Sleeves Fit Additional details (any info on tag) Hem details Bonus item/accessory, if applicable Care instructions
UPC or GTIN-14 or EAN one of those is required	UPC – [Universal Product Code (UPC) is a 12-digit bar code used extensively for retail packaging in the United States.] GTIN – [Global Trade Item Number (GTIN, GTIN-14, EAN/UCC-14 or ITF-14) is a 14-digit number used to identify trade items at various packaging levels.] EAN – [The European Article Number (EAN) is a barcode standard, a 12- or 13-digit product identification code. Each EAN uniquely identifies the product, manufacturer, and its attributes; typically, the EAN is printed on a product label or packaging as a bar code.]
Tax Code required	More details about this field and current tax codes for the Walmart Marketplace can be found here. For example, 2038710 is a code for the Taxable Retail Items.
fulfillmentLagTime required	The value is in days. Lag time is defined as the number of days between when a customer places an order and when you can fulfill the order. It can be set to 0 or 1. Value 0 means you ship a product the same day. IMPORTANT: If you would like to apply 2 or more days of fulfillment lag time you will need to request the permission from Walmart support: https://sellerhelp.walmart.com/s/guide?article=000005986

Subcategory required	Edit a product via GeekSeller interface to see available subcategories for selected categories. Selecting some categories may force you to provide attributes for a product.
Brand required	Example: HP; Toshiba; Unbranded If the item does not have a brand, enter “Unbranded”
Main Image required	URL to the main image of your products. See this page for guideline about images. Walmart has many restrictions on where you can host images. In case you host your images on other than GeekSeller server, please contact our support to assist you with moving your images to GeekSeller server.
Image 1 Image 2 etc… Optional	You can add up to 10 additional photos for your products.
